The Albert Dreissen Collection of Historical Aurora Documents
These documents are courtesy of Mr. Albert Dreissen. Some photos were sent to me before he passed away, others were sent to Mr. Rob Heaton who has kindly shared them.
Albert Dreissen was the Managing Director of Aurora Plastics Europe BV and Director of Aurora Singapore LTD from 1974 to 1983. He had a wealth of knowledge about the International markets. His book (listed below) is a great look into these markets and some of the Aurora/AFX products that not many people even know about. It is well worth reading. Albert passed away in December of 2021 and the slot car community lost a very knowledgeable man.
This is very definitely a work in progress. If you can fill in any data about any of these photos, please let me know (names, locations, cars, etc.) Check back often for new interesting documents, etc.
